Lean | Six Sigma Continuous Improvement is a cornerstone of espi’s services. Whether it is a short-term tactical project or a long-term, transformational initiative, we start the journey with discovery.

During the DISCOVER phase, espi gains a deep understanding of the desired strategic outcomes, key performance indicators, strategic growth plan, and the Voice of the Customer. espi gets into the weeds of your process-people-and culture. Internal champions are trained and then by working shoulder to shoulder with us go through an experiential learning process where they see firsthand how these tools are applied.

During the ANALYZE phase, we work with selected internal champions and conduct value-stream mapping workshops. We analyze current-state processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

During the PLAN phase, we then put together a detailed implementation plan that identifies short-term and long-term improvements.

During the IMPLEMENT phase, we deploy a variety of tools from lean-six sigma methodology. This approach is a change that needs to happen at the point of action.

During the OPERATIONALIZE phase, we emphasize accountability and commitment at all levels of the organization to ensure there are momentum and sustainable follow-through.
