Mr. Christian has been a highly successful business executive for 30 years. As a director of Operations, Quality Assurance and Research and development at Crayola, a major manufacturer of consumer goods, he played a significant role in their 700% growth of sales and profitability. Taking his extensive experience in strategic planning, domestic and international business and manufacturing, organizational development and management, quality assurance and product development, he began his career assisting companies to make improvements in these areas. He has done so for the past 11 years, working with 100 businesses.
In that time, he has a distinguished record of accomplishments in operational strategic planning, Continuous Improvement, Lean and Cellular Manufacturing, facility planning and layout, profit and process improvement, project management, Activity-Based Costing/Management (ABC/M) development, and team building. Through his efforts, clients have collectively realized millions of dollars in cost reductions and profit improvements, while adding and retaining thousands of jobs. Mr. Christian holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University. He is a certified Jonah with the Goldratt Institute and is formally trained in a number of progressive manufacturing practices. He is a guest lecturer at the Lehigh University’s Industrial and Systems Engineering Department and previously taught Industrial Technology courses at NCACC. He has been published in the IIE Magazine on Work Measurement, Computers in Industrial Engineering, International Journal on Capital Management, Industrial Management magazine on Project Management, the Packaging Journal, the ASQC Journal and IIE Solutions.
Mr. Govande has 25 years of progressive experience in supply-chain, information technology, and continuous improvement. He is a certified project management professional and a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He has directed multi-disciplinary teams on over 80 different projects to achieve significant results. He has been instrumental in creating transformational and sustainable change in a variety of organizations. Mr. Govande’s clients include fortune 500 companies such as Stanley, Tyco, and Alcoa as well as mid-size and small companies such as East Penn Manufacturing, Just Born, B|Braun Medical, Transcontinental, Infinera, TrayPak, Custom Processing, etc… He began his career as a manufacturing engineer at Cummins Engine Company in India. He worked as a project manager at the Enterprise Systems Center at Lehigh University. His expertise includes supply-chain planning and execution, demand management, S&OP, ERP system selection, implementation and optimization, as well as lean six-sigma manufacturing, business process analysis, factory design, plant layout and design and implementation of information systems. Mr. Govande has assisted several clients in the reengineering of their business processes through implementation of supply chain and ERP systems, such as Oracle, JDA, SAP, Epicor, Visual Manufacturing, SyteLine, Macola, PowerCerv, and PrintStream. Mr. Govande holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune, India, and a graduate degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Auburn University. He is certified in Demand Flow Technology and Business Strategy by JcIT and teaches lean manufacturing as a visiting lecturer in Lehigh University’s Industrial and Systems Engineering Department and DeSales University. His papers have been published in IIE, Conference on Industrial Engineering Applications and Practice, and Modeling and Simulation Conference. He is a member of PMI and is a past member of APICS, SME and ASQC.
Don joins espi with over 7 years of consulting experience collaborating with C-level teams and functional management to implement changes leading to improved revenue and profitability. He has guided teams to successfully develop and deliver new processes for building strategies, delivering innovations and improving operations. In this capacity, he has worked with early stage startups to global 200 companies. The methods have proven effective in delivering profit-generating results across a broad range of industries including automotive, heavy machining, medical devices, food products, government and advanced materials.
As an executive with over twenty five years in strategy, innovation and new product development, Don has led dozens of teams through every stage of innovation from discovery through development and commercialization. As Senior Director and Chief Project Manager at Mack and Volvo, he led the development of two new platforms representing over $2.0 billion in annual sales. In addition to leading the successful delivery of over 200 new product development projects, he has led the development of processes designed to improve the timing and delivery of new products which excite customers and drive margins.
In addition to consulting, Don teaches MBA level courses in project management and international strategy at DeSales University. He has earned the PMP certification and is an active member of the PMI. He has served on the board of a non-profit and currently holds volunteer leadership positions on the Innovation Leadership Forum.
Don holds a Masters of International Business from University of South Carolina.
Mr. Cowan is a seasoned consultant with over 20 years of experience in industrial engineering and information technology. He utilizes his experience to streamline and improve business processes through application of systems and technology. He is a certified consultant in the use of world-class systems to develop Activity Based Costing Models. He has developed several decision support tools and implementation of decision support tools based in MS Excel, MS Access, MS SQL, VB and VB.NET. In the field of BI (Business Intelligence), he has assisted several organizations in extracting business data and interpreting it for decision making. Keith is a graduate of Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. He holds certification in Demand Flow Technology and Business Strategy from JCIT.
Mr. Rebarchick has more than 25 years of industrial engineering and management experience in the manufacturing sector, Mr. Rebarchick has successfully developed and introduced production technology combined with a cross-functional workforce in highly labor intensive and competitive environments. In addition, his accomplishments include evaluation and acquisition of capital equipment, budget planning, formation and implementation of engineering principles in operational departments, product costing and development and establishment of resource supply chain management. He has a notable record of accomplishments in areas such as workflow analysis, standards development, performance measurements, TQM, cost reduction, plant layout, lean and cellular manufacturing and ergonomic disciplines. He has worked with companies to generate operational improvements through strategic planning and implementation of best practices, integration of technology, skill set utilization and capacity growth. Mr. Rebarchick holds a degree in Management Engineering from the State University of New York. He has completed various professional development seminars in manufacturing and leadership skills, receiving certification from Clemson University, Penn State University and Kings College. He is a past member of the American Institute of Industrial Engineers.
Mr. Fox has over 20 years of experience in Management, Process Improvement, Software Development, and Technical Support of Automated Systems. Since joining espi, he has been the key contributor to several projects which have helped various companies take their operations to new levels of productivity and reliability. Prior to joining espi, Brian was the manager of technical support for SI Systems, a maker of highly automated systems for distribution centers and of heavy-duty conveyor systems for automakers and manufacturers of other heavy machinery. Through this position, he travelled extensively throughout the US and abroad to help customers improve their bottom lines through more productive use of their automated systems and related processes. Prior to SI Systems, Brian held several positions related to software development, including development of a customized MES system for IBM and a commercial software product with over 70,000 users. Brian holds an MBA from Lehigh University and a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management). He is also certified in 5S and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
Mr. Freed is a Six Sigma Green Belt and received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University. He has over 12 years of experience working in various manufacturing environments and has participated in project work involving facility planning, continuous improvement, e-learning, e-commerce, Business Intelligence, workflow design, and application development. Prior to his employment with ESPI, he worked as a Systems Analyst with Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products. In this role, he worked on a team that created and maintained a data warehouse with a standardized report portfolio that required high availability to an extensive user base. He is highly skilled in data collection and analysis, is proficient in data warehousing, and has certifications in the IBM Cognos BI and Microsoft SQL Server suites. His involvement in global project initiatives has provided him with the opportunity to work closely with process owners and subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement custom solutions for business processes. This has given him a broad understanding of the ERP concept, from user experience to backend data structures.
Mr. Aull is a senior project leader with over 19 years of experience increasing performance, profit, and customer satisfaction. He is successful at developing and deploying structured IT solutions in many challenging, highly regulated environments. David has considerable experience in managing internal and external teams to achieve project results. He has played a significant role in the implementation, re-engineering or enhancements at various ERP systems including MAPICS, Made2Manage, Syteline, JDEdwards, and SAP. He has also worked on data analytics using Oracle Systems, Ariba, Cognos, and TIBCO. He has worked on master data definition and harmonization initiatives, improved automated document control process, coached end users in multi-national ERP implementations, applied lean manufacturing principles to reduce lead times and inventory. David has hands-on experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain management roles, in discrete manufacturing, OEM suppliers, and process manufacturers. Responsibilities included development and application of supplier performance and quality metrics, SPC tools and communication, maintenance of MPS, MRP/DRP schedules. David holds a M.B.A., a previously certified developer in Cognos Business Intelligence suite, and Certified in Production and Inventory Management by APICS.
Kathryn has over 30 years experience in ERP accounting and manufacturing system design and implementation as both a company employee and consultant. Her clients and employers include Fortune 500 companies such as YRC Worldwide as well as mid-size and small companies such as Novelty Manufacturing Inc and LM Prange Inc. Her areas of expertise are order entry, EDI, inventory, shipping and warehouse management, manufacturing accounting and cost methods, production management, scheduling, and material requirements planning.
She was a member of the development team for XLN Enterprise Systems using C, C++, Visual Basic, and Java J2EE programming languages. She has extensive experience with data mining with MSSQL Server 2008 and 2012 and Faircom data servers.
She was a principal member of the Epicor implementation and support team as a consultant for Manning Management companies. Designed and developed custom interfaces to meet customer’s requirements.
As part of the espi team, she has successfully directed three manufacturing companies from general accounting systems into fully functional ERP systems using Epicor Express 10.1, Epicor 9 SaaS, and Epicor 10 hosted environments. She developed a strategic plan on upgrading, automating, and implementing additional Epicor 9 modules for an existing Epicor 8 installation.
She assisted client teams in developing best practice methods and procedures for production management, scheduling and costing and tailored data, printing, and business processes using Epicor’s Business Data Queries and Reports, Report Data Definitions, Business Process Management, Dashboards, Product Configurator, and Service Connect tools. She developed business documents and reports using Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL Report Builder.
Mark currently provides consulting support to manufacturing companies in project and engineering management. He brings over 30 years of leadership experience with engineering, manufacturing and new product development. He started his career as an engineer at Mack Trucks where he managed the cab and electrical engineering departments. He advanced to Range Director at Mack/Volvo where he had overall responsibility for all the Mack Cab-Over line of products which represented over $260 million in annual revenues. After leaving Mack, Mark became the Executive Director of Engineering and General Manager of ZeroTruck Corporation where he led the engineering, design and industrialization of a line of all-electric medium duty trucks. Mark has a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State, a degree in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College, and is a registered Professional Engineer (Mechanical) in the state of Pennsylvania.
Scott has over over 20 years experience in sales and marketing at all levels. His primary focus is a consultative approach to asses client needs and determine the best course of action. Scott graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Visual Communications/Advertising and has over 10 years experience in the commercial print industry as both Production and Sales Manager. Scott’s advertising campaign for espi won the American Graphic Design Award in 2013 for “Trip Down the Rabbit Hole” focused on training & development services and 2014 for “Houdini” focused on supply chain services.
Scott is a founding member and vice chair of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Manufacturing Council. Scott is also a member of the Lehigh Carbon Community College Manufacturing Advisory Board.
Tammy has been providing accounting services to a variety of Lehigh Valley businesses for more than 12 years. In addition to her duties as espi’s Controller, she is an accountant at a Whitehall CPA firm where she offers a range of services to clients including bookkeeping, payroll processing, tax planning and compliance, QuickBooks consulting and income tax preparation.
She also serves as Treasurer for a Bethlehem church and manages three personally owned rental properties. Prior to her accounting career Tammy worked in Corporate Communications at healthy lifestyle publisher Rodale, Inc. where she assisted in coordinating regional and national press coverage for the company and its publications along with facilitating internal communications between management and employees.
When she’s not crunching numbers Tammy enjoys bowling, camping, a good game of dominos and scuba diving in exotic locations.
